Halloween Parade

  • 415 Atlantic Avenue Point Pleasant, NJ, 08742 United States (map)

From: The Halloween Parade Committee

Saint Peter’s is excited for the return of the annual Halloween parade. It is a greattradition enjoyed by students, families and friends alike.

Children do not come to school in costume. They carry their costumes to school in a bag, and will return home the same way. Costumes are to be simple, no make-up. All students are permitted to wear gym uniforms on that day. The children will put their costumes on over their gym uniform in the classroom. When students return to their classroom, their costumes will be packed in the bag.

One prize will be awarded in each class for the best homemade costume. No shared costume, one person per costume. If a pair or group is chosen winner, the children will share the prize.

Weather permitting the parade will begin on Atlantic Ave., turn left on St. Louis and another left on Forman. The students will then enter the parking lot. Parents are asked to please remain behind the caution tape. We ask that you park on Forman Avenue. PLEASE DO NOT PARK in the school parking lot. Also, do not park on the Atlantic Avenue school side, which is where the buses park at dismissal.

If inclement weather details will follow.

For the safety and security of our students, children will be dismissed at the usual time of 2:15 p.m. No students will be dismissed from the festivities. If their mode of transportation will change, please send in a note with your child in the morning.

We look forward to seeing everyone. Thank you for your cooperation.
